PDP Youth Group Reacts To Oba Of Lagos Support For APC

Oba of Lagos PDP Youth Group Reacts To Oba Of Lagos Support For APC

The youth wing of the People’s Democratic Party, the PDP National Youth Frontier (PDPNYF) is not happy with comments credited to the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu.

It described the comment as a direct attack against PDP and a mockery of non-partisanship, saying traditional rulers should be for all.

The highly respected Oba was quoted to have remarked thus:
“Recently, I told Bode George, [Musiliu] Koko and [Adeseye] Ogunlewe that ‘Look at me o! You will never win Lagos. God will give us another APC governor’.
Speaking as the chief launcher of the autobiography of the former President of the Court of Appeal, Mustapha Akanbi, at the Sheraton Hotels in Abuja on Wednesday, Oba Akiolu said Lagos would remain an APC state.

The PDPNYF hereby condemns the altrances of the Oba who is supposed to remain neutral at all time.

But you may wish to know that the Oba of Benin openly endorsed Jonathan in 2011 without any complain.
